Women in Project Management
What if project management could be a platform not only for delivering projects, but for empowering people?
Women in Project Management (WiPM) is a nationwide initiative of PMI Poland Chapter, established in 2017 to strengthen the role of women in project management and promote diversity and equal opportunities in business. What began as a local initiative has grown into a country-wide platform collaborating with PMI branches across Poland, delivering educational and networking events both onsite and online.
In 2023, we hosted our first WiPM Conference, bringing together experienced practitioners and a vibrant community of professionals. Today, through conferences, workshops and webinars, we connect participants across Poland and internationally.
Our mission is to share knowledge, develop leadership and project competencies, create a safe space for experience exchange, and build a strong, supportive professional network. While focused on empowering women, WiPM is open to everyone who believes in inclusive leadership and diverse teams.
By joining WiPM events, participants gain access to practical business knowledge based on real case studies and market experience. They develop key professional competencies in leadership, project delivery, communication, and decision-making. They exchange insights with experienced practitioners from various industries, and expand their professional network with meaningful and career-supporting relationships, and find inspiration through authentic success stories and powerful role models.

For the first time, we have invited other PMI Chapters and global initiatives supporting women to co-create this experience with us. Together, we are building something exceptional, an event where history is being written before our eyes.
